Ok, so the only time I have for fangirling is on Saturdays.  I'm currently very happy with the way I've successfully controlled my obsession, because if I were to update on them everyday, I would die since I wouldn't have any time to sleep.  I actually admire those fans who are able to balance the rest of their lives with hardcore fangirling everyday, but I'm not able to do that.  So, with that, I will probably update this journal every Saturday with the week's latest news. 

Sometimes, I'll take pictures from other people and post them here, but I'll be sure to say exactly where and from whom I got it from.  If you ever see any of your scans or screencaps here that you don't want me to keep posted, I apologize and will immediately remove them when you message me.  Thank you! <3

- Truth/Kaze no Mukou e Release -
This new single has been released just a few days ago, but it's already doing so well!!  Well, I can't say I'm surprised.  Especially with Truth, the single has a new feel to it, and anyone can fall in love with the song =P  Good job, boys!!

- Sho back in Japan -
Sho flew back to Japan from Beijing to perform with the rest of the boys on Music Station!!!! =D I don't know, but I feel kind of relieved to know that he went back... and he looks tired!  So, aside from Ohno, we have Sho - two extremely tired, overworked boys on our hands.  Good thing China is right next to Japan so the time difference isn't overwhelmingly different.  THE PERF OMGGGAHHH.  HOT HOT HOT HOT HOT.

Hmm... other than that.. NOTHING ELSE?? EHH? Well, I guess it's a good thing if there's not as much news as usual.  It means that our boys aren't working as much or haven't taken up some NEW project to further tire themselves out. =D

- Kaze no Mukou e PV -
It's out!!! Flock, fangirls!  Flock to the latest love that our boys have sent us!!  Ahh, I can hear it now... feverish downloading of this newest PV, anxiously waiting for the bar to reach 100%, swiftly clicking the new desktop icon, screaming in delight at their hotness, and shameless giggling as we all stare at the amazing contours of their arousing bodies. xDD I know I'm not the only one!!

Jun took a trip to Cambodia in lieu of 24-Hour TV to see how kids who have to live with HIV fare there. =]  Our most compassionate Jun.  And evidently from his statements, he was really touched by what he saw and heard there.  He is truly an inspiration, and all of us should strive to understand the hardships endured by others in this world.

- Beijing Olympics! -
I'm sure many of you have caught the wonderful display of patriotism on the parts of the Chinese today on your television screens.  I know I have.  It was truly spectacular, and in the name of worldwide unity, we should briefly put aside any political distractions... Of course, I am all for peace as well as the next person, but watching the Opening Ceremonies really brought tears to my eyes as about two hundred nations came together...  Oh, and this is Arashi-related too of coruse!!  Sho was there LIVE, reporting for NTV!!! =D  My goodness!  Sadly, I have no access to that channel =( because I live in America D=

- One Love Reissue -
I don't know about you guys, but I'm pretty much quite upset about this.  They're trying to milk us out of our money!!!  And I'm sure much of us are already almost broke because we've been buying.. EVERYTHING that they've been tossing our way!  I mean, they decided to release TWO LE versions of Truth/Kaze no Mukou e for goodness' sake!  And now, they releasing ANOTHER regular version of a single that's already released.  Argh!!!!!  Am I the only one who kind of feels frustration here?

- Update on Ohno Scandal -
Ok, so at first, JE seems to have been ignoring the situation, which might mean that the story is true, which would be very very very BAD for our Ohno.  And then, of course, the police are saying that they'll investigate the situation, but really... how much can they get?  It was three years ago...  Then, Ohno came out and adamantly denied that the story is true, but the photos are still incriminating.   Then on 7/30, a VS recording was cancelled, which could have been because of the situation.  Thenn, it made it into the CHINESE NEWSPAPERS.  Boy, Arashi sure is popular.  After a while, this gossip magazine came out and said that Ohno denied using marijuana and that JE decided to ban all coverage of the boys.  Supposedly, Ohno admitted to the threesome, and JE went to calm newspapers and magazines instantly.  And then... Ohno was warned by commercial sponsors and his parts in the AU commercials will be edited out.  I'm sure we're all hoping for Ohno to come out of this smoothly. 

According to someone who attended the Music Lover recording, Ohno apologized to the audience for the confusion caused by the news and denied EVERYTHING.  And I'm ready to believe him if he says so.  And I'm feeling lots of love for the company [DESPITE THAT RE-RELEASE] for back Ohno.

We all know that if Ohno is suspended, there won't be any Asian tour...!!!  SIGH.  Well... at least I can kind of be sure now that Ohno's been through all of this, he'll be more responsible next time.  Oh, then there's that talk about this being a JE stunt, but I really don't think so.  That would be taking it TOO far...

- Maou ep. 4 Rating -
It's 10.1%  =D  Definitely an increase =] Congrats to our dearest, sweetest Ohno!

So... I came across something that caught my eye today.  I'm sure it caught many of your eyes as well.  This isn't new news, but I have my own two cents to put in.  So, for those of you who don't know what I'm talking about, if there are any of you like that, this is what happened.  A magazine was released and inside were... dun dun dunnnn... scandalous photos of our beloved Ohno.  Trust me, the photos are scandalous.  According the the article, Ohno took pictures of himself and two other girls, thereby hinting at a threesome.  All three have a look of typical drunken happiness and they seem to be having lots of.. er.. fun with each other.  Here are the photos.

Ohno looks especially high in the second photo.  Apparently, one of the girls have said that Ohno was smoking marijuana or weed or some other illegal grass.  By the way, these pictures are about three years old.  So, here are the two cents I promised.

First of all, I want to say that I am disappointed in Ohno.  No, I don't love him any less, but for the moment, this does make me a little sad.  Now, don't come to attack me and say that I should just laugh this off, because this isn't a laughing matter.  If it's just the question of messing around with the girls, that already makes me kind of sick because I personally disapprove of this stuff.  Oh and I don't believe all that junk about 'oh he's an idol, he shouldn't have been doing this stuff in the first place.'  It's not because he's an idol.  If it was anyone, I would still disapprove of messing around like that.  I believe in dignity and pride, and these photos seem to obliterate that.  And yes, I do believe that Ohno should have known better.  I look down on such... pastimes and pleasures.

Now, if the marijuana stuff is true, I'm even more disappointed in him.  I've read other posts about this scandal.  There are many who say that it's "just grass."  Sure, grass that is toxic and jumbles up the order of your mind.  I don't care whether it's legal or illegal.  I don't think anyone should do something like that to their bodies.  It is irresponsible.  I understand that Ohno needs a bit of fun now and then, seeing as how busy all of our boys are these days, but this is something else.  I must say that such fun is not to my liking.

I love Arashi.  I love Ohno.  I want the best for him, just like all of us do.  This is not what's best for him.  These photos can get him in trouble with the police and with the jimusho.  Right now, I just hope that he isn't punished too harshly.  Please don't misunderstand me.  I'm not trying to sound pompous or righteous, but I will assert my beliefs.  If I ever found out one of my close friends did something like this, they would hear the same things from me.  So, because I consider Ohno a .. well, friend, I would want to tell him what I think.

And all those people who say they laughed when they heard it, I don't think they should be laughing.  Ohno could get into serious trouble.  Of course, I'm hoping that this thing will blow over like all the previous scandals, but you just can't tell...

- Nino's NEW DRAMA -
Yes people, IT'S CONFIRMED!!!  According to our naughty Nino, he told us to check the newspapers... and when you check the newspapers, YOU SEE THE ANNOUNCEMENT OF HIS NEW DRAMA WITH RYO!!  Yay!! More to look forward to :D Our boys never disappoint.

"Ninomiya, Nishikido, and Toda play three siblings whose parents were murdered when they were children. After being deceived later on in life, they bonded together as a team of swindlers, stealing money from the rich. One day, they find a man whom they believe is their parents' killer, and they start planning to take their revenge.

According to the Oricon Charts, Arashi's AU commercials are the third popular commercials!!! LOL I never knew commercials were rated in this way (or rated at all, in fact), but this is great news for the boys!

- Ohno's Weight.... or lack of! -
So, on HImitsu, they weighed Ohno and he's 40kg!!! That translates to 88 LBS OMGOSH. CAN YOU BELIEVE IT???  He's is absolutely too tiny for his height, which is 5'5''.  That is NOT healthy.  If you guys haven't noticed, most of the boys have been losing weight... you can see it on the TV screen, or computer screen.  This is so worrisome.... As much as we love their activities and the goods they produce, it shouldn't be the the cost of their health :( Ohno's probably not eating a lot these days because he has filming and fishing...!!!! If you all remember, we had this same worry with Sho last year when he was doing Yamada Tarou =\ Personally, I miss Ohno's chubbiness..

...Just kidding! I still have more to say! The day after tomorrow I'm going to see Arashi in concert (I'm writing this on the 13th [2]), and when I think about how I can see Ohno-kun [soon], I get excited! (I'm going as a normal fan. (Laugh))

Since we have already heard what Ohno-kun has to say, I want to tell you all my dream. If we can have Shuji and Akira [3], I think it would be awesome to have Satoshi and Yuri. Okay, done talking about that. In the summer Ohno-kun will be doing a television drama called "Maou"! I'm really looking forward to it!

According to meeohchan, the most recent Osama no Brunch episode, which was promoting our Riida's new drama, has a theme song that sounds like it's sung by our own Arashi!  Wow, personally, I think that the amount of work they're putting in this summer is absolutely incredible!  I mean, the One Love single has just been released!  And here they are, sounding like they'll be producing a new one!  Hmm... I wonder how much sleep our precious boys are getting...
-edit- Ok!  Seems like Arashi will be singing Maou's theme song!!  It's entitled Truth.  Hmm... it seems to fit the storyline of the drama, doesn't it?

Ninomiya will be guest-starring in Episode 1 as the son of Kumada (Note: Murder Victim #1). He expressed a fervent wish to continue in the series, saying, "I'd want to appear in Episodes 2 and 3, too."  He's also added, with a grin on his face, "Well, there are 3 other people in Arashi, you know." Could it be that Arashi as a whole will all appear as well?!
Haha!  Poor Nino!  He will be killed by Ohno! :D Doesn't that just make you want to watch it even more??  The day of the first episode is getting closer!

Yes, this news is pretty old, but here it is, for those who didn't know!  When the movie came out, they included a mini-drama that is set before the movie's storyline, which consists of all of the Arashi members!!  :D All of this Arashi cuteness is killing me!

- Woman Mixes up Ohno with V6 -
While out promoting Maou, a woman thought that the drama's theme song is sung by V6!!  hahahahaha!  I got Ohno's reaction from loissama.

- Sho's Recovery -
Well, it seems that Sho has made a very speedy recovery!  According the doctors, it should have taken him about a month to fully recuperate from his injury, but concert-goers have reported that Sho is up and dancing as if his fall never existed!  Good job, Sho!  You had us worried there, but are you sure you should strain yourself so early after the incident?...

- Hana Yori Dango out in theaters! -
According to Jen@vox, they are actually expecting sales to reach ten billion yen!!! Holy omgoodness that's a LOT of money!  Impossible, you say?  Well, more than 240,000 pre-release movie tickets were sold!!  Amazing :D

- Arashi Cover Contest -
Well, I'm losing by a considerable margin, but it's ok.  I do have some qualms about the one that is winning, though.  I'm not sure whether I will be complaining out of bitterness of loss or if it truly does bother me as much as I think it does.  Well, here it goes.  I do like the one that is winning.  It has a very layout, design, and color scheme.  However, what bothers me about it is the title.  It says 'From the Arashi Secret Agency.'  That is what bothers me.  Why does it bother me?  Because I am not a part of the Arashi Secret Agency, and my signature will be in the booklet, so I kind of feel like I'm being excluded.  I'm sure the person didn't mean to do that, but that's how I feel.  I'm not saying that the cover shouldn't be put up for a vote, no!  I'm sure the person spent a lot of time, dedication, and love on it, just like I did for mine, and just like everyone else did for their's.  It's just a small bother... and I want some reassurance that I and the others who are not a member of the Secret Agency, is not being excluded, because they have so many more fans than just the members of the agency.

Well, maybe I'm just being bitter after all.  Does anyone agree?

This has been out for a while, but the ARASHI Photo Album - ARASHI IS ALIVE is out for pre-order on various sites for about $37.00, so hurry and buy them while you still can!  I won't be making a purchase, though.  Strangely enough, cdjapan isn't selling it... hmmm..

LOL!  Poor, poor Nino!  I wonder how he felt when he heard this.  Oh, by the way, she was referring to episode eleven of Himitsu no Arashi-chan.  I haven't been keeping up with their new shows, or their old one for that matter.  Even if I watched it, I wouldn't have understood what they were talking about, since I don't speak Japanese.  lol

riavents has found a potential hater of japanese boy bands.  Someone posted a video of one of Arashi's concerts with the following comment:

Yes, his intention was to insult.  I do agree that some countries, other than the U.S., have a seemingly unhealthy obsession with boy bands, though.  Oh my gosh, here comes the hate wave!!  But just hear me out.  Even though I consider myself a very big fan of Arashi, I am NOT hooked onto any other band.  And even though I do love the boys, I don't become over-hysterical at everything they do.  I don't update myself on them everyday.  I don't watch their variety shows right after someone posts them online.  Sometimes, I find it hard to stay awake while watching it!!  And that would be because I don't know a thing they're talking about, so my mind just wanders off.  Yes, I am like that, and you can call me the weakest Arashi fan you've ever known.  However, I am also a fan who regularly updates [albeit only once a week], but I do so pretty fully.  I write them little letters that I have sent them, knowing they wouldn't understand what I'm saying [well maybe with the exception of Sho].  I have made a pop-up Christmas card for them, which I sent, knowing it would NEVER bypass their mail security because it exceeds the size and weight restrictions.  I went to see Jun when he came down to USC and I waited out in the sun, alone [and I have lonerphobia], for five hours just to see him.  No, I don't join any of the groups.  I don't exactly mingle with other livejournal or vox users.  People usually don't keep me as 'friends' on livejournal or vox because they think I'm no longer interested because I don't comment them, but I do care about what they post.  Yes, you can still call me a weak Arashi fan, because most of you have done so much more than I have, but that doesn't mean your devotion exceeds mine.  It doesn't mean that I don't care about them as much as you do just because I can't give them as much time as you can.  Yes, I love Arashi, but I also love my life.  I love my friends, and I certainly have other interests.  Ok, I'll stop there, because this is turning into a mini-rant.  Anyway, I what I intended to say that I slightly agree with the guys above comment about the boy band obsession.  No, I don't like that he slighted Arashi, but the guy does make some sense when you look at it from an American point of view.  That's all on that issue.

Ok, I don't know about you guys, but I'm very excited for this drama!  I have never seen Ohno's dramas, and I can't WAIT for this one to come out!!!  And the plot seems so riveting!  Not to mention, Nino will be a guest on the FIRST EPISODE!!  What will happen???  Will Ohno kill him or something? xD  Can't wait!

I think that's great, but I'm holding off from downloading the program because I really don't want any viruses =/  Well, of course, no one wants them, but I don't want to run the risk.  I'll probably get back to it someday when I'm desperately craving for real-time Arashi shows xD

I think I'm about three weeks behind on Arashi updates, and believe me, I'm feeling extremely guilty about my neglect.  However, in my defense, it's been hectic with school.  But all that no longer matters!  I'm more than ready to update :D

This will be out of order, but...

• Nino will be on the first episode of Ohno's new drama, Maou!  What great news!  Two hot boys in one episode - what can possibly be better?! [btw, A LATE HAPPY BIRTHDAY to our dearest NINO!!]
• Sho broke his thumb, but I'm a little blurry with the details.  However, I believe that this injury is the same as the one I've posted a little earlier.  Poor Sho, but I read that he received a tremendous amount of support from the rest of the group.  Gotta love their solidity as friends!
• -edit-  Ok, maybe the injury is not the same.  Looks like show hurt his leg, then his thumb??  Poor Sho... He seems to have fallen off the stage again?  Or maybe it was one incident, and he injured both parts of his body???  I don't know.  This must be punishment for not keeping myself informed.  :[
• Arashi's One Love PV is OUT! :D It's available at your nearest Youtube/Veoh/whatever-streamer-you-use.  I have yet to see it, but I definitely will!
• Arashi's Summer Tour is... OVER?!  I'm also very vague on this, but it seems that they will spit out another Concert DVD of the tour this year!!! YAY.. anddd
• ARASHI AROUND ASIA 2008 WO0TWO0T :D My money will be well spent.

 It has been reported that Sho injured his arm by falling off a stage at the concert venue!  And Nino was the only one who witnessed it.  Poor Sho.  He did his best to ignore his pain to give the audience a good show, despite his lame arm.  It's times like these where fans can see exactly how much the boys care for our enjoyment as well as their vulnerability.  For me, when I think of Arashi, I don't consider them as ordinary mortals... they are more than that, and so I forget that they are human just like us - humans who stumble and are quite capable of falling off stages.  I remember worrying about that kind of thing before as I watch their concert videos.  They're so high above the ground... Poor Sho.  I hope for his speedy recovery, as I'm sure all of you are doing.  He's still young! =]  So I'm not sooo worried, but still... right?

It worried me that I wasn't able to access arashian.com for a long while because whenever I went to the site, it would have an error message: broadband exceeded.  However, I checked back again a little earlier, and it turns out that the site has been in quite a mess becaus xiaowanzi was gone, but now she's back :D so welcome back, arashian.com.  Can't wait till the page is up and running again!

Here's my labor :D Everything is handmade, and I used some cloth I got from my friends :] Cutting out Japan and the U.S. was super hard work, but I like how it turned out.  I drew and cut out the yellow letters.  The little circle things on the U.S. are uchiwas xD I don't think they look like uchiwas though :[

1. Ohno's hair! I know, I know, I'm a lot more than just one week late on this! I've been busy, so I haven't exactly been giving the boys the attention they deserve xD so no, I haven't seen Ohno's new hair :[ but now I have!! I LOVE IT! It's so nice :D Out of all of the boys, Ohno's the one who changes his appearance the least, so whenever I hear that he did change it in whatever way, I'm afraid it wouldn't look nice because I'm so used to his prior image, but this one... I love this one :] much more so than his longer, blonder hair. I don't know if it was the hair or if it was just Ohno, but whenever I saw pictures or videos with Ohno's blond hair, he looks a lot more tired and older. I believe black fits him better.        2.     You guys probably all know, but the One Love album is out for pre-order!! o(^_^)o yay!  Can't wait to                 hear the new song!  I haven't listened to it yet because I want to be surprised :D

       3.   The Arashi Secret Agents are holding a project for all U.S. fans - creating a card with signatures of    fans in them.  How sweet =]  And they're holding a contest for designing the front cover of the little sig book.  I had a chance to participate and join the agents but didn't go through with it.  I kind of regret it, so I've decided to participate in the contest!  Wish me luck =D  Hopefully, I'll have time to complete it >.<  For more info on the project, visit                                                     http://chesto.vox.com/library/post/us-fans---card-for-arashi-mini-project.html

So, in total, I spent about two to three hours on my current icon.  I know it's nothing great, but it means a lot to me =) And I'm pretty happy over how it turned out, considering how I only have Paint.  I really want Photoshop so I can release my inner artist (who is obsessed with Arashi)!  Hopefully, I can get one of my friends to lend me their Photoshop.

In case, you can't tell (because MY friend couldn't tell), the little pictures on the right hand side, from top to bottom are: dog, crown, baby blue DS, an easel with a painting on it, a newspaper page.  I'll try to make my next icon more artsy. =D

I've had this journal for a long time now, but I've never updated.  I've only used this account to become friends with certain users to leech off of their Arashi goodness, but I decided to spruce the place up a bit (it's been over a year, after all)!  Hopefully, I will be able to give back to the Arashi communities and its members, who have provided me with Stormy happiness for quite a while now.  Thank you all.  I will reserve this journal for Arashi only.  This means that I will keep it as a personal media through which I will ramble about the boys.  Most of this will be for myself - kind of like a record?  So, I doubt there will be anything of much interest to everyone else =P Sorry.

So, today I bought Ohno's Tensei Kunpu Screenplay today!  I'm very excited, because I've been meaning to buy it, but I hadn't enough money.  I was depressed that it didn't have English subtitles, but I can just stare at the beautiful Satoshi the whole time.  Who needs to understand anything? xD  Can't wait till it arrives!  Please hurry =]
